What are your thoughts on Maternity leave? Have you ever been fucked over by it? I think it only gets bad when jobs don't properly prepare for it I guess but how can you really? If you are an employer, you basically have to just say "Welp, I guess I have to pay you because you got nutted in. nice." A woman at my last job got pregnant after the company paid out the ass for her to get some off-site training. Then she announced maternity leave and gone for like 5 months leaving the company up a fucking creek for certain things. Maybe I don't understand because I am not a father and never gotten a woman pregnant. But to me, it screams liability to hire women who could potentially pop out a baby at any moment. Most jobs that have maternity leave pay full hourly wages too so that woman is coasting for 5 months. What do you think? Maternity leave worthless or very much needed?
