>These fantasies are honestly both nice, but also a cycle of the same reason potential interests dont really fuck with ppl or anyone who has an interest in them. Women and Men, Whatever sex/gender with whatever sex/gender. It's ultimately a fantasy that ignores the bigger aspects of it. Would you use these imperfections of an artificial partner or interest against them? What aren't you addressing about these fantasies internally?
You lost me pretty hard there, anon. What the hell are you talking about?
>I only ask because the day is coming where this is possible, but it won't necessarily go how you imagine it.
Oh, spare me, it is not. Grok is not your robo-waifu, neither is Grok 2.0 or Grok XP. No, actual thinking, feeling, person-level AI is not just around the corner. You’re looking at a space shuttle and expecting Star Trek within a few years.
That said, when or if we do get actual AIs, then I don’t see these fantasies being an issue anyway. Reality is real, fantasy isn’t, I’m not expecting the former to end up similar to the latter. And if these hypothetical mechanical people do end up thinking and feeling differently than humans, then trying to predict their behavior before they even exist is a fools errand.
Robot or ningen, you can’t effectively judge someone until you get to know them.
