Character mishandling and wasted potential seem to be a running theme with the writing as of late. But, for what it's worth, I appreciate the framing of the event story being an actual mission with proper planning and clear objectives. We've spent so long with SKK and the counters just dicking around randomly up on the surface flip flopping between KILL all heretics with our superpowered friends and talk-no-jutsu all day that it feels like a breath of fresh air to do actual military shit. I also loved all the inter-squad cooperation between Absolute, Unlimited, the Scouts, and whatever piss-baby commander's squad is called. I've honestly been expecting this sort of thing to be much more common, but it's shockingly rare to see coordinated operations between SKK' nikkes to this extent.
