Your fears are irrational and embelished. You know what men fear? The void; nonexistence, irrelevance, insiginificance. All of those are crimes of significance. Someone noticed you. To be a failed man is to be forgotten at once, no matter your mettle, and to be forgotten so completely people no longer concieve of your existence. Sure, yadda yadda assaults. Carry a weapon. Learn to throw a punch. Assess the situation before engaging, and ensure you have a reasonable support network. When a woman is assaulted it's a travesty. When a man's assaulted, that's 12 years of school, and justified for being a bitch. Now feel free to say some hyperbolic trauma from your life. People may even cajole you and support you. Men dont have that.
