There's something wrong with me. I spend a lot of time thinking about what it is, even though it's fairly obviously autism. Things that other people enjoy don't please me, they're often actively unpleasant. I don't like hanging out, I don't like being around people in general, drugs do little to make me feel good - alcohol works to an extent. Sex is okay, but just okay. It's fine, it's whatever, it's meh, it's moderately physically pleasurable but not interesting or compelling enough to be worth the effort. The idea that people organize a large chunk of their lives and personalities over it absolutely baffles me.

You could say it's depression, but I feel fine. I sit down and work on some project and I'm absolutely content. Discontent only creeps in when I see what other people find enjoyable, the emphasis they put on how enjoyable it is, only to know that for me I'd find more joy in going to bed.

Had an epiphany the other day. The reason that women's dating advice is so bad is because they think that men experience dating like women do, except without worrying about safety. When women say "nobody wants me," they all know that they really mean "nobody who I want wants me." Women are soaked in sexual attention from all directions from puberty until menopause. Most of it's unwanted, lots of it's dangerous, but it's all sexual attention nonetheless -- so the idea that someone could never experience that in their entire life... just doesn't occur to them. It legitimately does not occur to them that when men say "nobody wants me" they truly, seriously mean nobody. Nta but it's one of the points that's hard to get right in legislation. Most people, even prolife people, recognise the grotesque nature of putting a victim of rape/incest/a child through a pregnancy and think abortion can be a fair option. The problem with that from a legal stand point is, apart from IDing the child for its birthdate, you need the victim to say it was rape or incest, which is something else they might not want to do.
Allowing a blanket period for all abortions does allow people who otherwise would not qualify to get abortions, but it stops an abortion also being a legal investigation into a crime. People who want to legislate where there must be a proven crime to get one don't mind how grotesque it is to ask the 18 y/o incest victim to prove they didn't want daddy's cock, just like the people who want it entirely banned don't want to know how grotesque it is to force a nine year old to carry a child to term. Both those groups like to pretend it's preventing the ones where it could be viewed as consensual sex from getting it, but even if you do bring in a law where they have to prove a crime has taken place, that just reduces the number of rape/incest victims who show up to the medical appointments, while also increasing people who have no shame claiming crimes occurred where no crime has.
The easiest and best solution is just to allow it close to the start of the pregnancy. Though if you do, you have to also control for other factors: for example if you have gender testing available at 7 weeks, and you have an uptick in people seeking abortion the week after, there's probably some gender selection going on there. You need solutions for the marital rape victim who comes in until there is a son and heir, and other problems that can come from being repeatedly at risk of exposure to the procedure's risks and harms that might lead to needing it.

It's not an ideological addendum, it's a practical concern. If your ethics are not practical and ignore real world empirical evidence, then you are working on pure ideology. You seem utterly unaware what you're proposing has existed in various forms and jurisdictions, and it always winds up with less evidence of rape gathered, more illegal abortions, fewer rape victims coming forward.
