My boss is an idiot. I made an entire relational database for him, better than his old one. He wanted to see how it worked. No problem, I put in a week's worth of data. There were some issues with the methodology, but the outputs were perfect. Then he asks me to expand it to two weeks worth of data. Huge crunch, but no problem. Then he wants me to do an entire month of data. 10 9 hour days hell days of data entry triple entering everything in both my sheet and his old sheet, as well as the corporate portal. Radio silence for two weeks. Come into work this morning and he made mild updates to his old sheet. Bitch if you didnt want me to make a new one, you should have told me, and since I made it, you could at least goddamned look at it since it's the exact same as yours but better in every way. Oh well, cant fix stupid.

I'm sorry to hear it, but not at all surprised. Something similar happened to me. Got laid off my old job for a jeet farm. Spent a year applying, no luck, even for positions I was more than qualified for. Moved and took a much lower paying job in a small town. Best part? I was a top performer working way below my capacity, and my entire department is now shuttered because the jeets faked their metrics.
