True. Some people (and that's debateable still). The problem is people with hope that buy into hopelessness and drown in it until they fulfill the self fulfilling prophecy and succumb to stagnation.

False hope can be destructive, but hope and will power can take you a long way in the face of the void. Maybe not all the way, but a long way. And who knows, maybe by then you'll find more resources; like insight, wisdom and experience. A chance.
But I'm an optimist fool, so take it with a bit of salt.
