Horizon isn't much of a commitment, there's honestly very little content in the game. You can just occasionally log in and do events to grab all the characters.

Nikke is the long slow grind to catch up to story with dozens of hours of story content. It actually has good story and great music so this is where I'd commit my time. Dailies aren't a huge time investment but you're just heavily gated by passively generated resources to keep leveling up. On the other hand it has long events, minigames, raids, event archives etc. if you want to actually play the game beyond dailies.

Feels like I've gone back to the Artificial Girl etc. era of gaming.
