i'm not going to go into the weeds on a trap thread but this is a possible side effect of oral estrogen (i.e. pills) as they are metabolised by the liver. it does not apply to transdermal patches or injections.

see this is exactly what i'm talking about. yes, technically i am at an increased risk of breast cancer relative to before. that is because i have breasts now. i sincerely don't think getting to the same baseline as half the population is a significant risk; i've also vastly reduced my risk of prostate and testicular cancer so it's probably a wash.
