It's funny how so many of today's stories and the reports that come out that are ostensibly about the 'thing' itself are really centered around the exaggerated reactions from either side of the political spectrum. Like that's the real story, hearing how your perceived political enemy reacted thus confirming your belief that they're the ones in the wrong.
For every protest about migrants or trannies or whatever, there's a whole host of lads there with GoPros and microphones who don't care whatsoever about the issue (for or against) but whose goal is to make videos, primarily for the right wing youtube grift. Their slant is normally to the right, because that's where the big money is on youtube. But they don't particularly care.
Then as a counter to that, you have a whole host of credentialed journalists who have been sent to the protests solely to document the behaviour of the rorkes and gammons. These journalists eagerly follow around the police as they run or take the bus from scuffle to scuffle. For them, these boring rorkean incidents are the real story: a roundabout painted in a St George livery, a flag raised, a group of men standing near a fence. There's a good 2-3 articles in there to drum up fear around the ever-present right wing Nazi menace.
It's all a bit tiresome.
