What exactly was so bad about the Hardsuit Labs version that they felt the need to completely cancel it and start from scratch? By no means did it look incredible but it looked fine and much closer to the original game than whatever is going on here.

I just don't really understand what could have been so bad about it to where THIS looks preferable.
