They should have allowed the player to warp out at least. They can restrict warping in. The bell stations could be selectable for warping. So the player can leave areas by warp, but still have to enter them on foot.

Weird question to ask, since it has nothing to do with my issues. But I I've been buying pins, and pinning everything. Bilewater currently has nothing of interest to pin. What would you have me pin?

>I think this is why they're so generous with bonfire placements in Elden Ring.
Yeah, sounds about right to me.

You're telling me there's a closer bench than the one I'm already at?
I guess I can try looking for it. But I already scanned the zone for alternative paths on my first couple of passes. Granted, my attention was split, just trying to survive. So I could have overlooked something. But still, I normally have a pretty good eye for spotting branches and hidden paths.

I don't know what that is. But I'm probably going to avoid it now, since you say it's broken. In fact, I'm going to avoid patches for this game until, I 100% it. Currently, steam wants to update the game, but I'm going to start in offline mode to get around that, and finish the game offline.
>Get double jump
>"Finally, I can explore Bilewater properly."
>Get deep into zone.
>Find bench far in.
>Continue exploring even deeper
>Find one of those rooms that challenges the player to defeat a series of enemies.
>Die
>The run back is hell.
>Stay optimistic, telling myself "I only have to beat that room, and then I'm done.
>Defeat enemies, getting the slow mo cinematic ending to the battle.
>SIKE! This is actually a boss battle, prepare your anus.
>Big froggy bastard appears and performs a bunch of rapid unfamiliar attacks that do double damage and take up the bulk of the space of the room
>I'm expected to adapt to this somehow, with only 2 hits until I'm dead, because I barely survived the enemy phases.
>Of course I die in seconds, because I have to idea what the fuck the boss is doing, and he double damage contact damages me before I can comprehend what just happened.
>I have to make that shitty runback again, and refight the enemies, just to hopefully be lucky enough to learn a boss attack or two before he kills me again in under 10 seconds.

Someone remind me why I'm playing this game?
