What’s the conspiracy? Billet trunnions are 100% confirmed and billet bolts are all but confirmed. The failures look suspiciously cast but it’s inconclusive. They are not real forgings, from AOA:
>These bolts are fully machined from forged steel just like the original military soviet era produced bolts.
I.e. milled billet. By the way this is NOT how original bolts were produced, they were real forgings (pic related). A piece of stock is hammered into the rough shape of the final part and then it’s finish milled. WBP just takes a piece of stock and mills it. The fact that the stock is forged doesn’t matter and is a red herring to trick the average consumer that doesn’t understand manufacturing.

Notice the difference between how AOA markets the billet trunnions vs forged bolt carriers:
Trunnion (also lying, originals were actually forged)
>100% machined from forged steel like the originals
Bolt carrier
>These are brand new production AKM47 7.62x39 cold hammer forged bolt carriers

It’s no coincidence that the only part that is actually forged is referred as “hammer forged”. All of this is coming directly from AOA and the WBP factory tour, not lemonigger. Post the video where he complained about this because as far as I know there isn’t one and he still stands behind WBP’s “good parts” and just claims that we get the QC rejects peppered in with good parts.
