Even (can't remember which exec's name) said "We can't remake FF6 because it would be too big" - that's the narrative legitimacy of this entry. It flows like a good book, condensed. Each major plot point; each small comedy could be expanded upon for pages without having to make up *dumb* filler shit. The small sections where one travels the overworld could have prose added like a Tolkien novel.

Kefka for example, was a mad dog barely on Emperor Gestahl's leash, and you knew it from the start; there wasn't this secretive, self-hating-morally-chaotic fuckery. You knew it, and you steeled yourself for the final battle long in advance.

I hope one day they take it on.
