i don't take any meds my psychs give me anymore, besides vyvanse and some benzos. with ssris and anything like them i just give them vague non-answers and ask to switch after awhile, i haven't seen any smart ones yet, or at least ones that arent fucking idiots. everyone who's ever rlly disagreed with me on this ends up being some condescending loser that preaches le 'go to a professional doctor!! it'll cure literally all your problems!!' like a drone im ngl. the last several ssris i tried made me feel like i was genuinely dying, and made me crave it much more than that

for real, it's so painful how much control your parents get to just fuck you up and ruin your life and see no consequences or real social condemnence, you have 10000x more power in whether or not your kid turns out dysfunctional and mentally broken and fried neurologically than ANYONE else but it's never ever your fault for any of that. its actually insane that its seen as you doing a good thing just by having a kid; it needs to be seen as WAY bigger of a responsibility, you can prevent your child from being capable of understanding basic emotions or concepts because your treatment of them just prevented them from becoming a whole person and somefuckinghow noone sees it as a failure to do so, no matter how much youre able to gaslight them and fabricate an entire world around them just so you can control them, then throw them away like a broken toy when you get bored and cant use them anymore
