>You mean rushing a season out of the door completely missing the deadline for the sake of money?
I can flip that too.
>You mean dragging out an arc into a trilogy across several years, just so you can reskin a TV arc as a cinematic event and charge $20 a ticket?
Pick your poison. Neither is perfect, but only one of them turns 47 chapters into a 3-part movie experience, shoves flashbacks into IMAX and casts fading B-list actors to boost English dub PR cycles. What's even more funny is thay JJK still holds more popularity than Demon Slayer, without those stunts.
>Both formats are perfectly legitimate, jjk is just not popular enough to remain relevant on between movies.
You're retarded. JJK literally holds the Guinness World Record for the most popular anime in the world. Won in 2024 and holds it again for 2025. Mappa could have easily turned the Culling Games arc (which is even longer than Infinity Castle + Sunrise Countdown) into a trilogy film cash grab but they chose TV format, even after a movie proved they could dominate theaters cause they respect the anime format, and they know the fanbase is already rabid enough that they don't need to stall for theatrical revenue.
