I mean it's something to consider.
The problem is that people have been sold the dream that they can make full seasons of TV quality animation on YouTube. But that has a one in a million chance of working out. People need to experiment more with short formats like they used to on the old youtube/newground days. Stuff that you can realistically make by yourself or with a small team. You can go a long way with 3 minute shorts. Limited animation but with interesting visuals.
A lot of animators will rightfully complain about shitty practices used by big studios and the industry alike. But then will instantly turn and do the same when it's their turn to take those roles. Because you can't have two seasons of Helluva Boss free on youtube without paying your animators like shit. That's the sad truth.
