I reject this, it wasn't until after the original manga that the designers thought every character should have wacky multi color hair instead of just the protaganist. Original YGO manga side and background characters are more (anime) grounded.

The thing with Sonic characters is that they're meant to be simple, but people need to feel special so they break the rules by giving male characters clothing etc. and I hate it every time.
