any genuine skill is never going to be comfortable at first.
I've been drawing like 7 years. I'm embarassingly bad for 7 years, but i can tell you that drawing becomes easier and more comfortable the more you do it, until it's second nature. If it feels uncomfortable just keep doing it, assuming you like it. picrelated is something i drew on MS paint with just a mouse, no tablet.

i've been drawing 8 years. i'm dog shit.
to get good it will take as long as you're willing to work daily, and how efficiently. If you draw every other day, for an hour a day, and you aren't studying, just drawing mindlessly, you'll probably be dog shit for life. If you draw every day, for 8 hours, and you're studying deeply for the duration of those 8 hours, you will be an expert in 5 years. Oh well.
