Yeah I played it for like 20 hours when they added the NG characters. It's actually pretty good. Literally just Hades but with musou style enemies. The builds and setups you can come up with have a lot of variety and feel very rewaring to see your plan come together each run, and even better if you get some lucky drops. The Ninja Gaiden characters are all very fun to use. It sucks that they don't have new artwork for them, the whole game's roster is actually made out of reused assets. But they did get all the voice actors back so you get to hear new voice lines from Ryu and his girls. It's not a brilliant game but it's a nice little thing to get semi-addicted to for a few runs. I'd pick it up on a sale

I had no hope of seeing the NG girls in NG4, but the fact they just got all the voice actors to reprise their roles for guest appearances in Warriors Abyss makes me think they might actually be in 4 (as little cameos). Surely they wouldn't get all the character actors just for like 20 seconds of dialogue in a rogue like game and leave it at that when a new Ninja Gaiden game is coming out at roughly the same time. Ayane at a minimum has to be in it, it's a series staple for her to appear in every game and give Ryu a weapon buff.
