Thank you for the kindful and well thought out response. I was wondering about which jannies get assigned to which board, because I was thinking of you're running out of OFF TOPIC threads (see: NOT video games threads) to ban on /v/ (doubtful), then couldn't they siphon off the jannies to some other board that needed them more. And yet that wouldn't make sense as /v/ is tied with /vg/ for the second and third fastest boards on the site. When the mod leak happened, it was found out that /v/ has an assload of jannies assigned to it compared to the other boards, so they clearly see the need to employ more people here in particular. You would think most mods assigned to /v/ are going to have a passing interest video games, like most people that browse this site in the first place. Who on 4chan does not play video games? So I find it hard to believe that they don't know what and what isn't a fucking video game.
Once you clear the board of off topic filth, go to a different board and clear ITS off topic filth and deal with ITS schizos before deleting on topic, friendly and cordial discussion between anons that just want to talk about video games on the video games board.
It's like they want this entire site to die, and lucky for them, it's in the process of dying! Things keep getting slower, people are leaving enmasse. After the shut down things never quite recovered, not everyone came back, and more are leaving. This is not an accident and a LOT of it has to do with how moderation on this site is handled.
Remember this jannies. The only reason you have a "job" is because of us. We are the lifeblood of this site. Without users that want to post here, there is no 4chan. If you want to accelerate the death of this place, than keep doing what you're doing. But just remember you were hired to protect this place, not destroy it.
