Scratchin Melodii seems like a more difficult and well put together Parappa clone. I feel meh about rythem games buf love the Nana Onsha games because they don't just let you riff and adlib but incentivise it.
That said, ehile the songs are shorter and a bit all over the place it's both more difficult and fun to play, despite how many times they try to point out the MC is non binary, at first I thought she was going to be some humanoid-looking being but nah I think she's just non binary (and the bathroom bit was heavy handed). It's got that soft Steven Universe feel to where even when they aren't doing anything woke it just feels soft and feminine-poppy.
The song Sidechain Fever also has a line in it where the rival, a witch girl, says something like "magic from my ancestors taught me how to change". That level in the demo doesn't have her story mode lines or context in it yet, but I'm willing to bet money they're saying she's trans from magic. Or maybe magically altering your sex as if it were natural isn't trans, idk.
That said, for what it is, it looks good and plays well.

Aside from a little woke this game is looking to be pretty fucking rad. The songs are a little short but the demo has as many songs as the wntire Parappa 1 did. I'm hyped.
