I know porn is bad for the brain, sure. But I always wonder, what should one do with the freedom he gets from abstaining from porn (potentially masturbation)? Like sure, if you are a kissless teenager and all you do is masturbate then stopping gooning, starting lifting, getting education and eventually pussy is a great goal. But what's after? What if you become an all out porn addict after you make it? What to strive for after? Maintaining what you have built till you die with occasional vanilla sex with someone who gets older rapidly compared to you? I don't know, anons. I think "back then" men had ways to relieve pent up sexual tension. Gay sex orgies in ancient Greece, then later on brothels, gentlemen clubs. Heck, because marriages were arranged nobody expected you to be the perfect lover, housewife, mother, best friend etcetc in one person, so it was common knowledge that people had side pieces. Men simply weren't meant to settle with a single partner. Despite the fact how liberated this age is sexually, it has never been more suffocating. You expect everyone role to be fulfilled by your partner and not allowed to outsource some roles to someone else. So what you do? Instead of meeting with real people and having real relationships you jack away your brain with porn to keep the family together. I swear it's better to be an alcoholic. At least you get social support for trying to escape. Now even admitting you want to be free of porn is frowned upon...

I wish someone would help me clear my head from these ideas, but so far I haven't found a good counter argument...
