What you're witnessing with the drawthreads becoming this slow, lasting over 10 hours long on avg, one or two threads per day, is the result of years worth of threadshitting that's been going on since late 2022. The constant autism from shitters who shit for the sake of shitting destroyed the threads. The old artists left (or reduced their presence), and new artists saw the rotting corpse and said "nope!" and turned around and left.

It doesn't matter what time of year, what time of day, if school is on or not, there is always some level of bitching, or someone spamming. They are not fun threads anymore and haven't been for a while. They are misery. To get locked/trapped into them is to be a beaten housewife. Because when you check out drawthreads elsewhere, they are not like this. They are engaging, active, more or less welcoming and friendly, and full of artists. I used to recommend drawfags to these threads. Now? I tell them avoid this place, so some shitter doesn't try to ruin their life because they said or drew something "wrong" to some basement dwelling zoomer incel who will obsessively hold a grudge for the next half decade over one small event that everyone else couldn't care less about.
