Newcastle had the old ODEON that was there from the 1930s. lovely building. knocked it down a few years ago to make STACK (bars in shipping containers! wow) and now that's done, they're knocking the rest of it down to make new HMRC offices. no need to have them in the city centre, people just didn't want to drive i suppose
