Why is it considered cringe to sincerely enjoy your hobbies and take them seriously?

Does anyone here know anything about plugin development?
I've extensive coding experience but not in C+ which I think it's what every plogon is built with, shouldn't take me too long to get started on that, but are there any tools or documentation on how to get started with plogon development? There's a somewhat simple but useful (i think) one I want to make it anything just for personal use

I swear you guys must all be doing something horribly wrong on this runback because it seemed completely inoffensive to me, did they change it in the first patch or something?
