russians just have weird animation taste. there's zero attempt at beauty, instead making everything as 'creatively ugly' as possible, and adding in a million frames of weird subtle movements.
It's as if they missed the simple truth first worlders figured out ages ago: we're drawing to FIX reality, not to emulate it. if we wanted the ugliness of real life, we'd use film or paint oldtimey realistic renaissance paintings (and even those were somewhat idealized)
