Playing Cronos: The New Dawn right now. The atmosphere and ambience is pretty fucking good, but this combat isn't endearing to me. I'm at my first boss, the tentacle man with the three glowing weakspots, and this encounter with the last three as well, the clunkiness has gotten to me. Your character is way too slow. Obviously I don't want to zip around the map with sonic speed, but a little more pep in their step would go a long way especially with the aiming speed. The stability of aiming is miserable, with the crosshair flying all over the place as you charge and you can't hold the charge either. So once it reaches maximum, it goes off, and you combine that with the enemies moving about, inaccuracy, it makes every shot feel as if it's the result of wrangling the game's controls. I haven't been struggling with items, but actually inventory slots. I made a mistake thinking I should focus on Health, so I got no room for anything and have to juggle the items with a lot of back and forth. Overall, the combat is not fun to me at all.
