Basically to retain data longer, active SSDs ironically benefit from high temperatures (but below 80C), which is why most SSD manufacturers do not recommend you use any kind of cooling on your SSD. Oppositely cooler temperature like say those found inside a refrigerator are excellent for storing SSDs while powered off, roughly spanning into multiple decades likely. Obviously we'll never really be 100% certain of this until we build a time machine though.
