By comes of age I mean he grows away from having the inflexible principles that Ditko Peter kinda has when he first starts out. He still has his ultimate inflexible principle that Uncle Ben gave him but Peter still is more sympathetic towards Randy's ideas later on rather than what Ditko may have thought about protesting.
