I don't remember the exact age.

I stood up to my mom a couple of times in my adolescence. She's the best, but there were times where she could have been better. She's my favorite person in the world.

Throughout my young adulthood, I've stood up to my father and my sister in various ways. He is an emotionally abusive, gaslighting narcissist. She is toxic, shallow, mean and controlling. Living with dad, I learned the hard way why my mother hates him so much.

I cut my sister off recently (I blocked her on the phone, email and Facebook). We used to only speak to each other on birthdays and Christmas. I didn't send her a "happy birthday" text, and I blocked her before she could send me one. I don't know if she even tried since she probably noticed I didn't send her one.

Long story between me and my sister. We were both shitty, I changed and apologized, she did neither.
