Now that i think about it, i think the PSP is the only one who ever gave me that much freedom of media, i tried some stuff on my wii but it was just easier to pirate a movie and watch on my pc.

You can install custom firmware on the slim and play old games if you really want to.
Nothing beats the fat backwards compatible one though, by the way, for anyone who does have one in this thread and is scared it might die.
