>that has not worked in keeping people out for years?
Based on what? Government stats? But you don't believe the ones now that say its working better now after Trump added 20,000 National Guard to the border? Are we just arbitrarily choosing what we want to believe based on feels? I guess that's all anyone can do anymore in this era of AI and 24/7 propaganda.

Also, it's probably not just "black paint". It's pic related. Not surprised Trump or anyone else hasn't heard of this shit. Only building managers and parkour guys have. Also pic in OP is literally from a video from the Biden era. It's not even painted, its in shadow. I remember the video, around December, they were FLOODING in in anticipation of him taking office in January. That's also part of the whole equation, psychology. If people believe it works they're less likely to even try.

I mean yeah, there are better walls you can build. This was the most cost effective one out of the 5-6 proposals contractors offered. That's the point of the wall, a cost saving measure because it accomplishes the same thing as thousands of extra troops. Also, it's a lot harder (physically and political capital wise) for a future President to remove a wall, than the National Guard.

>simple climbing, pretty 100% sure i can construct a unscalable wall given "enough" funds (analog to your "enough time" requirement)
Yeah, with infinite funding? Sure you can build a whole orbital habitat for Americans to live away from the Mexicans without that constraint. The issue is just the cost-benefit versus however many troops you would need to achieve the same efficacy as the wall + troops.
