>Okay but like that's what cards should do.
I wouldn't agree with that; that isn't the case for a single one of my cards. If I cast something and it hits the intended target I get a benefit and the opponent is harmed, sure. If the opponent moves at a lucky time, or dodges intentionally, or uses a defensive spell, or a minor summon blocks it, or an interrupt affects me, or I just miss, I'm getting zero benefit plus the detriment of my MP vanishing and losing access to a really important tool until I cycle through my deck again. A 3 MP spell failing to land at an important time for any of those reasons usually means I immediately lose the game.
>It's not like there's a small chance when you fire off confringo or whatever it does a wet fart instead.
But there is! If the opponent dodges or moves at the right time just by luck and the projectile misses, or the summon you aimed it at dies from something else, that's exactly what happens.
>But that's the price you pay when you're activating standard book of funny moments.
If you're Dumbledore/Luna and your opponent is Harry/Voldemort/non-TS-Hermione/McGonagall/Ginny/Snape the worst likely outcome is you spend a bit of MP and gain some echo charge burning off the useless cards, while the opponent gets an MP discount on something which doesn't work with their echo but is still vaguely useful. That's like a net neutral or so. Meanwhile the best that can happen is you win the match instantly.
>Also yeah it's like inflatus except only works when they're already stuck for one reason or another and close enough to reach
I do agree Pranktastic is sort of a worse Inflatus (it has longer potential stun duration but limited range, which is probably a net negative?), but completely taking away your opponent's ability to participate in the game for a while is never going to be bad, especially when there are so many things in this game that can kill instantly.

I've been oneshot by it twice today...
