Wizard bros. I just watch all the "Why don't wizards use guns?" videos. All comments say stupid things like AK-47s and nukes would win a war against wizardkind, without anyone thinking that maybe wizards can tamper with every single Muggle creation and turn bullets into cheese or charm a nuke to bounce back against them. Why are Muggles so retard?

The average wizza is just as retarded as your typical cockney, so it shouldn't come as a surprise that there's dingbats on both sides. I'm sure there's wizards that would go down to a hobo with a shotgun, while other wizzas could topple countries on their own. There's some DBZ level power gaps between wizfolk out there.

It's mostly based around creativity, logic, and forward thinking. If the Ministry was smart they wouldn't have spent centuries alienating muggleborn like they did. They should have really brought them into the fold. A crack response team of muggle-raised muggle experts at the ministry would help hugely in the inevitable war between wizard kind and muggles. Just my own opinion on the matter.

Also, muggle governments wouldn't nuke wizards, because they'd be nuking themselves. Do you link the British government would drop a nuke on London? Of course not.

Wizards being in hiding or mixed in to the muggle population centers protects them in a broad sense, while their magic would protect them from up-close reprisals. While it's unknown if a shield charm can stop a bullet, the muggle in question would need to find the wizard first and wizards have a multitude of options when it comes to fighting and hiding. Each 17 year old wizard is fully trained in combat and can turn nearly invisible and teleport. More morally grey wizards can mind control, torture, and kill with a few words. But even those unwilling to kill would put up a hell of a fight, should the fighting start.

I think it really depends on the situation and exactly what a war with muggles would entail... are we talking just all magic people against all muggles? What would each side be fighting for? What counts as winning? Wizarding society in general doesn't really do the whole war thing outside of Voldy's takeover and the goblin uprising, and even then it wasn't like a full scale war kinda deal. Muggles on the other hand *do* do the war thing, a lot, so they are really a lot better equipped for it... but like >>537893082 said, magic people are mixed in with muggle society so stuff like nukes are totally out of the question. Gun probably beats wand most of the time in a one on one fight because it takes way less time to pull a trigger than cast a spell. You could probably pre-cast Protego but then you have to know you're about to be shot at. Wizzas have infinitely more flexibility though, even something as basic as Disillusionment is an autowin against any muggle who doesn't have like... thermal cameras I guess? So I think magic people have a huge advantage against muggles with guns if they have the initiative and know they're in a fight, but a muggle's best bet would be to just shoot them before they're seen. A sniper would probably be really hard to deal with.

I haven't yet, because I'm honestly not really sure how to? I found a place to download the episodes but playing local files on Kosmi is really unreliable, some people just get a black screen or video without sound. I tried using Cytube too but the only viable video host left for that aside from YT is Twitch, and they have some sort of automatic copyright enforcement thingy that kept banning my accounts almost instantly as soon as I tried streaming stuff.

Like I said, the global servers shutting down killed my enthusiasm for the game. At the time, anyway. I'm honestly surprised it's still supported, even if only in select regions. I had expected the game to get fully shut down not too long after.

New servers? I don't think it matters, though. I'm fairly certain all accounts that didn't transfer when the global servers were shut down were all deleted. And f2p games like MA are too brutal to start over completely.

I really try to avoid hosting anything in places where you need to make an account; I think it's better if people can just click a link and join. If every other web based streaming thing dies or stops working I'd be willing to make a dedicated Discord server for movie nights but it's kinda a last resort, and if I were to do that I'd also keep it completely locked except during movie night. But Kosmi works for everything we need except for the specific thing of playing local files which is rarely needed anyway so I'd rather just keep using that.

It's still supported in all regions I'm pretty sure, or at least I don't know of anywhere it isn't? Not that I don't have my complaints but overall NetEase has done a way better job of running the game than WB did.

A couple months ago they launched the Kelpie server somewhere in North America... new accounts made at the time got a big initial boost; I'm not sure if that is still a thing (I think probably not) but if you ever feel like giving it another try that might be the place to start. It is also linked so you can play with people on the other servers as well.
