lived through this exact scenario
got a call to a house an old woman "owns"
has a dumb young mouthy city type roastie as renter in part of it, because of very high property taxes
vancouver, bc...
bathroom a total mess, tiles missing around the bathtub, mold, rot everywhere
i only went there because old roastie is friends with one of my good clients and he really wanted me to go there
young roastie of course right away explains to me what needs to be done and how, and this be done by yesterday
i have 30 years of renos under my belt....
smile, let roastie babble away, smile some more
smile some more and tell them, i do not have time for this
the shock on their faces
leave with a big smile on my face
