>kinda crazy how nobody outside of italy has thought of this before
Feels like it would be a conflict in taste. Maybe I'll try it someday.
>personally i'd like to be greeted by people if i go outside and such
There are baristas and store clerks and pharmacists that know me and greet me. But I wouldn't like it to happen all day from everyone.
>not just some worthless cog in the machine
I like being a cog. Cog is good. I like having a small piece of heaven in the chaos. Being a cog gives you more control over your situation and world imo.
>maybe i'd think it like you too if i had experienced something like it previously
Try living in a village or commune for a while and you'll get the gist. And not to mention all of the gossip...
>i just dont really like how everyone seems so estranged and isolated nowdays
It makes intimacy and familiarity have more value insted of people spilling into your life like bleeding paint on a canvas.
>is it to keep your mind busy so you dont think bad things?
No, it's just how the world is supposed to be for me. And I usually don't think bad things, I learned how to navigate thought patternes and self-soothe; which is invaluable when having schizo and intrusive thoughts.
>there's always ambience videos on youtube
I go to sleep with music to keep my mind from wandering at night and sleep faster.
>i live in a city with around 60k people so it's not really that big
My city has around half a million people so much bigger hehe.
>they fill me with anxiety. too many people, too many roads, too many things
Living like that is like writing a piece of code in a bigger software; you focus on the smaller area and it's logic in relation to the bigger picture. And for me it feels more intuative. I heard communes send their kids on "city navigation training days"; they drop them off in the middle of the city and give them objectives to navigate to.
>i want to experience as many things as i can
That's a nice notion. My too, I guess.
