OK, here's a clue... when Isreal launched a sneak attack on a US ship, the USS Liberty, killing multiple sailors to try to blame on Egypt so that we would go to war with them, they got caught red handed and the politicians sided with Israel. They prevented a US carrier from sending aid to stop the air strikes.
