Buddy, don't overthink this. You literally go to any brick-and-mortar store, grab pic related for ~10 bucks and forget about refilling you printer for the next 4000 pages. Even refilling is so simple you open a single valve and stick to bottle inside until it empties. It's not 1995 anymore, don't worry.

Easy to learn, reasonably hard to master. Very toolbox-y, with about two dozens of advanced rules like terrain rules, commands, advanced actions etc. to pick from. The game is extremely generic which I find to be a huge green flag since you can do whatever you want with the ruleset. I feel in love with it when I used it to play a fantasy bronze-age campaign with my gf and it required only a little bit of work to reskin it. What you get is a decent ruleset but it's up to you to mix and match the pieces to make it fit your taste. No matter what /awg/ tells you, never stop at playing with core rules only - these are used for demo games only.
