Could someone help me understand what's going on with Chief's pistol, specifically what's down the barrel that kinda looks like a camera? My first thoughts were some sorta lens system for a laser or that it's the head of a seeking micromissile, but the early chapters specifically said no high-tech allowed. Tho now I guess we also have brain scanners. Am I just retarded?
