Zoomers have been browbeaten by their peers into believing that the worst crime you could ever be guilty of is being cringe.
I suppose this is an overcorrection after they were exposed to mainstream "quirky" millennial "humor" growing up where millennials embraced being cringe a little too much.
Zoomers are terrified of being earnest or silly and letting themselves be vulnerable to judgment of others, on the off chance that the judgment will be unfavorable and they will be found guilty of cringe.
It's why their "humor" is so gay, it's just layers and layers of irony that they can fall back on and a "too cool for school" facade.
A zoomer could NEVER have drawn any of these.
