I never took it in the first place. It's an absurdly fun stratagem, but I think it'd be better served if they started having patrols wander in off-map like it's been suggested in those missions, since then it'd be about keeping things at bay instead of shooting things out of the sky.
It made things quite more boring, especially if you drop them on hills in the bot front.
