that's not even the worse part, when you have a nation(in the original sense, aka ethno-state) you can effectively still do something close to reproducing by contributing to the continuation of the nation, which carries the overwhelming bulk of your genes forward even without your specific combination, so even in periods where maybe there's some trouble in that regard with matchmaking, you are in some sense still working to preserve something of "you" through the collective semi-yous so to speak that are your ethnic group
but today you'd be fighting just so that your lebensraum will be populated by a conglomerate of unrelated hominids, so it's beyond parodical to fight for it perhaps even i you aren't an incel but married and with children
