I am aware, you'd be surprised how easy it is to own guns in europe if you actually want to. Will it suck to actually use it in self-defense, legally speaking? Yes, it's gonna be a nightmare, but the only reason to use a gun in self-defense is when you fear for your life or something of equal importance like your daughter not getting raped, so even potential prison time is worth it. It's a simple arithmetic.
