It is much the same idea as Where's Waldo, although I believe I Spy to be the superior book purely from a nostalgic bias. As for the name, it does derive from "I spy with my little eye..." as the point is to spot what the book mentions - much like how you would spot what the other player clues to.
Yes, although I do not post my works here, mostly because I try my hardest to maintain any amount of privacy that I can. I do understand others are more open about these things, though.
