I've never understood Jesus Christ literally being God because the narratives do make a lot more sense if you'd accept the premise that he's the son of God/a prophet/has actual magic powers/etc. but he's still a separate dude

Like God whipped him up with one foot in divinity and one foot in humanity because God had a moment of clarity where He looked at all the crazy shit He pulled in the Old Testament and went "Wow, am I the one being a cunt here?" and the end result of Jesus's expedition to earth was "You kind of were, but so is humanity"
