I used to ship Metamy before realizing the potential of Tailamy.
They're alright but Tails as a 'character in Sonic's shadow' is more interesting than Metal since Tails has those traits and more.
Metamy does have its own unique appeal, though.
I wish it had more fics on Ao3. Been awhile since I read a good Metamy fic.
