Iranian Response
Iran cannot strike Israel in any meaningful way, so they will attack shipping in the Persian Gulf in an attempt to shut off the oil. They did this in Yemen and it was very hard to defend against. It will be even harder to stop when these attacks originate from Iran. The result will be $300 a barrel oil, with the only remedy being prolonged American involvement.
This is Iran’s only move.
