Just finished a tiny modification (the frame was a bit tight and cumbersome to install) and now it should be Ez-Pz. The docking features on all sides allow these instrument chassis to get stacked horizontally or vertically and will be probably also very handy for storage as I can dock instruments that are not in use to the side of my workbench or to the underside of my desk to part them there, securely.
I know it's not a flashy project but I needed / wanted this for future small electronics projects to make better use of these high quality but still very affordable chassis. Besides, I wanted to build something that is more on the generic side to make it a useful open hardware project that may
Tomorrow should be the last fit-check and then I can finalize the design and clean up the earlier parts of the project. The world is in such a chaotic state right now and tinkering on these models feels so comfy. It feels like playing with Lego (tm), honestly
