Which Sonic character should be the mascot for a Sonic rhythm game?

I can honestly only imagine a DDR spinoff, with each mode having its own mascot, like Sonic for Solo/Missions and Tails for free play. Would be hilarious if they had Eggman for the Workout mode some DDR games had.
